My name is Katrin and I am a trained personal trainer and nutritional advisor, with over 25 years of experience in the health industry where exercise, nutrition and mindfulness have always been in focus, I have helped many people get in shape and achieve their best self! I am the founder of the Holistic Weight-loss & Wellness strategies concept.

My name is Catrin

Trained personal trainer and nutritional advisor and has more than 25 years of experience in exercise, nutrition and mindfulness.

Through education and a genuine general interest in health and well-being, I have created a weight loss concept that is unique and in use for about 20 years, both privately and professionally. 

My clients describe me as honest, educational, matter-of-fact and caring. The interest in movement and training was already established in childhood, and already in my 20s I was competing in Fitness. I realized though... pretty soon that I wasn't attracted to the stress, competition and fixation on results that the lifestyle in the fitness world entailed. Instead, I wanted to help people feel good and get in shape in a healthy and sustainable way. That's why I trained as a personal trainer with a focus on nutrition and mindfulness. Over the years, I have built a health and weight loss concept that has successfully helped countless clients achieve their best selves in a healthy body. I live by what I teach but, like so many others, have hit "the famous wall" which led to burnout and taught me how hard it is to find my way back to everyday life with all that entails. However, I have also learned that it is entirely possible if you only have the will, the conditions and the right tools. Exercise and diet are usually a major contributing factor to recovery, but a favorable and loving environment is also important! My clients' privacy is of the utmost importance and I offer a unique and exciting health investment that you can benefit from for many years to come. Together we make an unforgettable health journey where you decide the goal!

Holistic WAW Stategies

Holistic WAWS stands for Holistic Weight-loss & Wellness strategies. A 12-week weight loss course is offered here, where we go step by step and with micro changes through most of what concerns weight loss from a holistic health perspective. In each step, the method takes into account regulating stress and keeping the hormonal system in balance, as well as activating the body's own cell renewal... and thus slow down aging and increase vitality and energy both physically and mentally.

The concept has been developed, honed and tested for about 20 years, and when following up on previous clients, it has been shown that they have maintained their new weight for many years after they implemented their lifestyle changes. It is an effective method that involves an overall change in small steps.

If you are looking for a "quick fix diet", then this method is not what you are looking for, but if, on the other hand, you want a long-term and sustainable result, then you have come to the right place.

We perform the method in a group to support and contribute to each other's progress and we consciously work with keys and tools that you can continue with later. I have long realized and understood that people with weight and health problems do not need yet another diet but a deep understanding and respect for their body, and this I believe is fundamental to achieving a long-term sustainable result.

The name Holistic Weight-loss and Wellness describes what the method aims for.

The course takes place both digitally and/or with physical meetings.

For many years, when I worked at Sturebadet, I offered my PT clients who wanted help with weight loss that method. One day I was contacted by a doctor whose patient was a client of mine. The doctor wanted us to collaborate, which led to further development of the method.

    1. Two health checks at Werlabs carried out before and after the 12-week programme
    2. Two personal meetings with mapping and advice
    3. 10 group meetings with other participants
    4. Clear food and exercise instructions week by week
    5. Clear instructions on mental training week by week, you learn to be more present and help you strengthen your self-esteem & your relationship with yourself and your surroundings.
    6. Lifestyle coaching and cbt instructions that help you identify and challenge your thought patterns around food and behaviors that prevent you from reaching your goals. Sometimes you need powerful tools to break the cycle of dieting and develop a healthy relationship with food.
